VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Looking for free movie tickets?

Well, we are looking for volunteers to help with the Regional Kick-It Soccer Tournament on August 8-9! And those volunteering for the minimum 4-hour shifts will receive 2 Gold tickets to Frank's Theater at the Queensgate Shopping Center after the event! The more you volunteer, the more tickets you get!

We will need help in the following areas: shuttle bus greeters on Saturday and Sunday; on-site parking on Saturday and Sunday; Kid's Kingdom Playground supervision; and table attendants in the Sponsor Village.

Volunteers must be 16 years or older (except must be 18 if working in the Sponsor Village).  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Recreation Department at (717) 741-3861 x 142.

A Volunteer Waiver will have to be completed by all persons. If you are under the age of 18, the waiver must also be signed by your parent/guardian.

Help us make this event a great event for our visitors (they will be coming from all around the region--New York, New Jersey, Delaware, etc.) and our community!

LIMITED ACCESS FOR RESIDENTS TO YORK TOWNSHIP PARK ON AUGUST 8-9

As a large number of visitors are expected for the tournament, the park will be closed to the public during the game times.  The game times have not be set, but will generally be between 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. each day.  More definite hours will be posted closer to the event date on the Recreation Department's Facebook page and website.

There will also be a charge for parking for this event.

We appreciate our residents' understanding and patience as we attempt to bring events into the community that will support our local businesses.  During event hours, we encourage our residents to visit one of our other fine neighborhood parks or a park in a neighboring municipality over the weekend.  Thank you!

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
