York County Oldtimers Baseball League is for ages 38 and over and plays from the 1st weekend after Labor Day through the 2nd weekend in November with 10 Sunday games on the schedule. Games are typically scheduled for McWilliams Field and Field #2 in York Township Park and on Shryock Field. The league commissioner is Ken Hersey.

Partnership/Program Information
The Oldtimers League is a partner with York Township Recreation to provide a softball league for men ages 38+ on township fields.

The Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society (PRPS), founded in 1935, is the principal organization promoting quality recreation and park opportunities for all citizens of the Commonwealth through education, training, technical assistance and other support to local, county, state and federal recreation and park providers.

The Society's 1,800 members include recreation and park professionals working for federal, state and local agencies; therapeutic recreation specialists and activity coordinators working in health care facilities; local recreation and park advisory board members serving in local communities; faculty and students at colleges and universities; recreation directors at commercial and resort facilities; and suppliers of recreation and park products and services.

The York County Rail Trail Authority is a volunteer, ten-member Authority formed in 1990 under the direction of the York County Board of Commissioners. The Authority's mission is to enrich York County communities and countryside through the development of a network of public trails.

The Authority, which is incorporated under the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Act of 1945, is a political subdivision of the County of York.

The Authority leads development efforts for the Heritage Rail Trail.
