Park Rules/Hours

1. Snyder Park, Heritage Hills Park, Tyler Run Park and Fitz Park are closed between dusk and dawn. York Township Park and
Shryock Field are closed between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. No trespassing during these hours or when area is otherwise
closed by the Township.
2. No littering.
3. No negligent or deliberate destruction or removal of natural or physical property.
4. NO GOLFING IN PARKS. Outdoor recreation activity is restricted to locations appropriate to the activity or as directed.
5. Open fires or hot coals must be in fireplaces or grills. Fires may not be left unattended and must be thoroughly extinguished before
they are abandoned.
6. No solicitation.
7. No alcoholic beverages or drugs. No one permitted in the area under the influence of alcoholic beverages or drugs.
8. Use of explosives, fireworks, guns, rifles, air guns, bows, slingshots or similar items is prohibited.
9. Injuring or killing wild animals is prohibited.
10. Boisterous, immoral or indecent conduct is prohibited.
11. No facilities may be reserved without completion of an application form and approval of the Recreation Director of the Township.
12. Dogs must be kept on a leash or otherwise tied. All canine solid waste must be removed from the park.
13. Motor vehicles may be driven and parked only in designated areas.
14. No inflatables, pony rides, petting zoos, etc. allowed with pavilion/building rentals.
